probably MTX for spl, and IXL for SQ, i don't know how the SQ of the MTX is, but the IXL is a SQ driver that also gets loud, maybe not as loud at the MTX, but loud enough for the average basshead

the 9512 is a $650 sub and the mach is $200. how can there not be any noticeable difference?

I personally had the MTX 9500's, SQ was good, SPL was nice. But they did lack on the lows, they played the mids better.
