M561

Hey, do any of u guys know where i can get a Replacement M561 or m661 tweeter replacement. I talk to the guys at DA, and they are looking for like 100$. Sounds kinda crazy for a speaker smaller than my palm.

Any help would be nice..

Also, anyone have this set? Know a good amp to power them?

Try ebay.

I look at diamond audio stuff every other day on there and see m5/m6 and tweets for $20-$60 regularly. Alot of them are new, I guess alot of people upgrade to silk hex tweets for a smoother sound. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Here's a few good 2ch amps in your price range:

-Phoenix Gold Ti400.2 $350 to $400

-Zapco AG350 350W ~ $300

-Orion 3002 ~$300

-Nakamichi PA2002 $350

-Hifonics Gen Xi series - if you find any they should be ~ $250-$300

-Diamond audio - any 2ch diamond audio that in your price range

(doon't rmemeber the moel #'s)

Well for a four channel, I would stick with either the Hifonics Gen XI series amp or Orion 8004.

I've actually seen some good deals on ebay for the orion 8004's. They sell for $250 new.

And as for Hifionics, I've seen soem pretty good deals here ( $350 ):

That Hifonics in that link is a really nice 4ch amp. Would be very nice if you plan on running a sub off the rear channels or some speakers for rearfill.

But all the brands I listed make 4ch models just for a bit more $$$.

And keep Diamond audio in mind aswell. I really like their amps, but they get a little pricey.
