Its a lot funner if you crank the volume and fly the jets. Try to take off fly a pattern and re-land. It gets fun once you start to figure it out. I also like the challenges, there was one where you had to land on an aircraft carrier in the ocean

I don't have a machine powerful enough to run the latest versions, so I don't know...the last version I could run at decent frame rates was 2003...

I think that's the joystick nearly everyone has. I love it, man. In every other flying game, it's teh bomb. It rocks in M$: FSX... but, I dunno, man. The graphics (Even at full graphics @ 40 FPS) were laaame. There was this one mission I did where you were supposed to fly around Hawaii... but everything was so ugly. It's supposed to look a lot better with DX10, though. So, I just MIGHT install Vista on another HD and try it out.

Does anyone know of any good combat flying games for PC? I barely get to use this thing...

x2 I started flying when I was 13 but have not been up in over a year. I flew my solo flight but still needed more x-countries and night flights for a private.

Haha. I'm kidding. I'm too clumsy to fly one of those things. I'd probably start texting in the middle of flying or some ish. :shrug:

I game a lot. Installed right now (and I constantly install / uninstall games.):

M$: FSX, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Left 4 Dead, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Spore, World of Goo, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, World in Conflict, Need For Speed: Undercover, Painkiller!, Painkiller Overdose, and The Sims 2 with all the expansions / packs. (I don't care. I fucking love the Sims. It's a nice time waster.)

ha theres so much shit going on when your just learning how to fly its hard to just reach into ur pocket

plus if i was texting my instructor would prolly fukin hit me haha
