Which one do you think will play the best? The good thing is both have similar bolt patterns so after I get adapters made I can get the problematic Focals out of the rear deck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif I know the M-6's will take rated power but the TB's say 70W RMS and 140W Music. Are they underrated? I just hope they clear the X-bars in the trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif The TB's are heavier and a little bigger so I hope they fit. Maybe try them first?

Safe to say no X-over on these? Just hook-em and go?

Am I the first to run these TB 6.5's on here? I thought I would see someone chime in that has them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

I've used the 6.5" TB drivers... put them in my car around 2003 or 2004... something like that. They are great midbass drivers, they are still in the car and my cousin owns it now. Their 70 watt rating is full range... I had a 175 x 2 RMS on them with a ~70 Hz HPF on them without issues -- the coil is massive on them.

I am very interested in how the TB's will sound. You're using them as low low mid-bass coming from the rear right? With no sub installed in addition to this correct?

That is exactly what I am thinking of using them for. Let us know!!!!!!!!

They perform very well as midbass or as an actual subwoofer. I have tried them in both applications in a well deadened front door IB. Before I had the sub stage functional in the aforementioned old car, I ran these full range and the pair together sounded like a quality 8" subwoofer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It won't blow your head off, but they will fill out the low end well for an SQ oriented person.

Be warned... they have a VERY strong motor and will absolutely shake the crap out of a sheet metal panel. I had to put 5-6 layers of deadener directly around the speaker and 2-3 layers on the rest of the door.
