Some Eminem, Common, The Rza... check out Twelve Jewelz by The Rza, a deeper rap song doesn't exist and his flow is great.

Who listens to Hip hop, Rap, Krunk--or other "Urban" music for it's "Lyrical Quality?"

POV? = Yes

I love it for what it is... attitude and 'music' focused around great bass tracks

There are a lot of people that have this attitude. Just because you've never heard a rap or hip hop artist that is a good lryicist doesn't mean there aren't any. You have to go by more than what gets played on the radio and television. I don't like rap that is focused on over produced beats and whatever fashion trend is currently popular. But that's what sells to the little kiddies so that's what gets played.

Believe it or not there is innovative, talented, intelligent, deep hip-hop out there. They just normally do not play it on the radio as it does not sell as well.

his songs have a story--- but he is still a smartass and his songs, though lyrically thought out... are more about the beats and sound effects. Tell me that most artists in the market dont focus more on the hook and beat/mix of the music than the lyrics.

off topic, but... Kenny Rogers just released a new song called "10 Years"

Many of his song are NOW. His early stuff was much less overproduced. He has just evolved into a something far beyond your average rapper. He has a huge budget and sells millions of records to a pop audience.

This was never in debate. My point was hiphop doesn't always equal ghetto idiots rhyming about shooting one another or just about selling records. You just have to sift through a lot of sand to find a few diamonds.
