lowering

i've got a 1998 2wd dodge dakota, and want to lower it, probably 2"-4" or 3"-5" (not bag, out of budget) but i have no idea where to start, i have heard the terms coilovers, leaflets,shocks. if possible, i'd like to know about how much it would be if i installed it myself, or had a professional do it. thanks, any info is appreciated.

In the front you can get control arms or springs or spindles, and in the back u can get a flip kit or shackles or hangers......it will probly be a few hundred 100-300 for installation depending on what hardware you choose to drop it with.

DJM is just junk IMO,specially thier control arms.With that said.U have many opinions,ur not lowering the truck that much so do like a 2" drop coil and 1-2" spindle for the front. In the rear 2" shackleand 2" hanger,I dont know if u can go more than that in the rear without doin a flipping the rear end.I dont work or ride in Dodges:up2somet:

My friend's had DJM products for almost a year now on his S10. No problems what so ever.
