The Digital Designs 1508 is the loudest 8" subwoofer I ever remember playing with. I put ONE in an enclosure that was originally built for a 10" subwoofer, 1.1 cubic feet gross tuned to 34 Hz, and NO ONE believes that I am running a single 8" subwoofer until I show them.

Didn't you also run the 1008s? I was always curious as to how the new 15XX series compared to the old 10XX series.

In my experience the E8's are not as loud as the DD 1008's are not as loud as the DD1508's. Though I am curious to see how Jacob's new SA-8 will compare if it is still in the works.

I use to run the 1008's as well....they bottomed out easier than the 1508's....

i am using 3 dd 1508 dvc 4 ohms off a saz 1500

at 35 hertz

in 3 net

gets down loud

but i will be replacing with sundowns 8's moment they hit jacobs dock

Already decided on replacing 1508's with SA-8's? Thats quite a bit of confidence in the Sundowns

Hes looking at getting the DD 1508's or 8'' L7's but I remember reading on those TC 1000 8's If i remember right they were pretty **** good does TC sounds still produce subs ?

Have you guys ever messed around with those treo SSI's ? I remember when my buddy ran them off of a zx1000.1, they sounded amazing. But then again they were over $350 for the pair.
