njcc, i seen where some guys on soundillusions told me not to get them bc they go pop easy, i have also seen a video of shane after seeing the vid thats why i considered H2's.

And I have one of his H2's in my truck now w/~1kw per... daily. And I'm not even a fan of Orion's woofers persay.

BTW, I've heard that any woofer will pop with too much power in a bad enclosure. Ever plug one into a socket free-air?

Yah... i've had a few chats with him. Awesome guy. But if you use commone sense, you are going to have no problems.

common sence as in i would think would be dont power over RMS for daily, and yea, i would be giving these woofers 800 a peice daily a for while then bump it up to 1600w a peice daily so i should be good in one sence

With a decent enclosure you should be fine @ 1600. As i said, I feed mine 1kw each now. I ran them @ 2kw nominal for some time too.

There are other good options out there though.

woulda DP be an all around louder sub do you think, with the amount of space i have to work with, i emailed TREO about a price on SSX would an SSX be more of a SPL geared woofer if so sould i look into one of those, and put that in a big box, im open to options, i basically want 2 spl type woofers that wont sound like crap

i have heard of them, arent they somewhat like DP's, i noticed tho the xmax on them is 14.5mm to where the DP's it is 38mm

38mm PEAK TO PEAK, which means 19mm one-way (which is what the 14.5mm number is). Gotta compare apples to apples, not apples to grape fruit

I've got an Orion h2 15" dual 2 ohm in a 2.25 cubic foot slot port enclosure tuned to 33 Hz being powered by an orion 1200d amp with 2 bulk packs of dynamat extreme in back and the sub still shakes the entire underbody of car. I've had people listen to it at half volume for a couple of seconds and immediately get out b/c they say their brain is literally shaking around in their head. By the way, h2 is 1.14" xmax one way (29 mm)

i dunno, what do you guys think, DP's, SX's, H2's or MTX 9512's, atomic ELE's ( not alot of people know about these subs ) or sonic FX ( the loudest one's ), which one of these subs will perform better in 2 to 3 cuic feet each ? i want the loudest 12's
