I emailed RD Audio, and this is the response I got from Steve Miller. I was curious after reading the first few posts and thought I would investigate it for myself.

I wish they would post pics and some SPL results. Especailly if their as insane as he says they are (Steve Miller).

This was his reply to me:

Our website is due to be up within 24hrs. If that doesnt answer your questions our tri fold brochures will be done friday so i can send you one monday. If you have any questions once you see the product i can answer them for you. We offer six lines of woofers now two SQ lines one mix of SQ and SPL then three lines of spl woofers. With burst ratings of 4,000 / 16,000 and 30,0000 watts. We are also developing another SQ woofer and a entry level woofer that we are testing many versions to offer the best possible woofers. We have amplifiers and we are developing two other lines of amplifiers to be done in 2007.

If you are looking to get some gear to compete or just a demo let me know we currently do not have anyone in Utah.

The amps look extremely similar to Atomic Loudspeakers...EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

Who makes amps for Atomic, then?

lol , haters come a dime a dozen don't they? all that matters is that i'm happy with what i got. you do you and i do me. I have emailed them to ask them when the site will be up. lol all I know is my truck beats real hard. does yours? lol.

You're missing the points. The first point is you are fanboy-ing the brand. This is bad.

The second point is just posted the specs of the woofer in your above post, which is fanboyism AND advertising. This is bad.

The third point is your fanboy-ad has several grammar errors. If you can't spell "friend", "alum", or "heard" then the odds are you screwed up with and put a "3" instead of "2" for the voice coil diameter or "4k watt bursts" instead of "1k watt bursts" for the momentary power handling as well. This is bad.

Long story short, if you like the brand, good for you. If you want to show it off, find people in your area that post here, let them sit in the truck and give it a listen. The more people you impress outside of this little forum, the more respect your install and the equipment in your install are going to get. You aren't going to help their cause with your outbursts.

PS: I have run installs with Aura Sound, Stereo Integrity, and Incriminator Audio. I'm well aware of what defines "beats real hard".

I am interested in the amps to see what kind of power they do, and to see if I can boost my current usaci sb1 class, if you guys offer competitor pricing and everything I would be game, Im always willing to try somthing new.

As far as our woofers go some people may have simular baskets or whatever but we went many extra steps in creating the best woofers possible. with our new basket it will have a lager spider platoe thank 99% of baskets out there.

and that does what to help with anything? Did you mean to say "plateau" ? Its normally called a landing, but im not trying to be a smartass, I just would like to know why your company is suggesting this would be a mechanical design enhancement versus other basket designs (since you're the one who brought it up and all). Also pictures to explain this and design reasonings would further back up your reply, if you choose to do so.

Guys, i just got these new brand of subs called PicklerAudio. I have 1 8" sub in my trunk and people think it sounds like 4 18"s, i swear to god i got a 180.6 in the TL. No pix or proof though, but its a good brand. Buy all there stuff.
