[QUOTE="DropDownLowYota, post: 8305356, member: 607849"] My friend has a chevy colorado and I've been searching almost all day on this problem: on higher volumes, his speakers start to crack and a loud high pitched noise like a whine comes on and we cannot figure out what the cause is. I tried unplugging the RCA's on his 4 channel and turning up the volume and there is no noise when they're unhooked. First I checked the ground because that's originally what I thought the problem could be but then I figured since the RCA's are out and there's no noise, then that isn't the problem. Please help!
