Lossless file to MP3 converter: Which program?

You are not going to be able to do that unless you use itunes and right click on the file and say make mp3 version or compressed version. But i can not for the life of me would compress my music if there in lossless.

Than just burn a regular cd put your music in a playlist and go into options and under burn select regular cd. Honestly how many songs can you play on a trip.

It won't even let me add the files to itunes...

Than how did you make them lossless the only program that lets you do that is itunes. The other one is flac but I do not think itunes recognizes that.

I downloaded the entire Aerosmith box set from Torrentz and this is the files it gave me...

I love itunes your saying it's lame because it probably dose not do what you want it to do for your illegally downloaded stuff. When you rip cd's and download Legally it works very nicely.

What are you talking about? FLAC is lossless. So is APE, WavPack, etc...

Ya but apple actually calls theirs lossless so that is what I though he was talking about. Also there is no other program out there better than itunes so nice and easy to find a song and it stays organized as well.

Do this man right click on one for the songs and click properties and tell us what the file format is.
