Looks like Pride V/S UFC is gonna happen.

Its going to be ZUFFA buying out Dreamstage ent., I know it may sound/seem like the same but it will acutally allow ZUFFA to either keep Pride running overseas under the name Pride but owned by ZUFFA or move them over here. I dont believe any of the current Pride fighters will be forced to fight in the UFC by any means, the fighters mentioned above all came to UFC AFTER there contract w/ Pride (dreamstage) was up! It was no different than UFC fighters going to pride, ie. Baroni, Trigg, Randleman, Coleman, Barnette, Diaz hell even good ol' Wandy fought in UFC before he did in Pride!! They (ZUFFA) can keep things going in some sort of fashion they way they are in Pride just move them overseas (here), or some of the fighters may even not be asked to stick around or choose to stick around in which case they could leave to venture off into say K-1 Heros, or some of the other MMA orgs that are starting gain momentum!!

W/ all that said glad to see some MMA fans!

Penn left UFC to fight/promote Rumble on the ROck, his little org in Hawaii.

And Rampage did quite well against "the ICeman", actually he beat him in the GP!!

the beast! He's been doin k1 ever since he lost to that brazilian noguireiuirua dude in pride...did you see the k1 fight where he got knocked out by crocop first round?

i think its crazy that he was born in colorado springs, same place as me...just found that out a lil while ago

I didn't see him get kod by crocop but i saw him lose to some tall dark skinned dude via kick to the dome.

Pride i think takes it alot of the best ufc fighters nolonger fight or are not near their best shape. i say...just do a best of the best 1 fight takes it all...

Tank Abbot Vs Bob Sapp atleast its more fun then watching the 22 yearold wannabe fighters ufc likes to use to make their "top" fighters look good. Cro Cop wasnt even number 1 in pride.

Well it's official. Pride has been sold for a tad under $70 million. Not even 1/2 of what UFC made in 2006 from PPV earnings(200 million). UFC rules and weight classes will be forced on Pride. Pride will remain in Japan under it's new name PFC. Frank&Lorenzo Fertitta have 100% ownership of the new company. They also own 90% of UFC. They also mention Superbowl type events between Pride and UFC.
