whats your budget (400ish?)

and what are you needing it for? any subs? amps? what speakers? coaxial? component? what do you PLAN on doing with it?

these questions will help us awnser yours. and the pioneer deh-pXXX are supposed to be sweet decks. check http://www.crutchfield.com for them, if you get EBAY, you WILL NOT GET A WARRANTY. and decks (from my expierence) die the most. with crutchfield, you get all the equipment to install it for FREE, plus free shipping, plus you are warrantied.

and now i have kdc-2020 till i get the pio.960

all of these have 3 preamp outputs and the last two have tons of features (including the higher EQ band) - the pioneer is a little more bling bling... but thats not what i look at when buying a deck.

i looked a functionality versus price... and price was more important to me.

but if you wanna be a pimp, find your local ECLIPSE dealer, and get somthing like the CD-5454, and you cant go wrong. my brother got a CD-5444 for $450 installed with a 3 year warranty and eclips' "theft protection program" - when somone tries to steal the deck, when they try and power it up, they get 3 chances to insert a CD (one that you make) that is used as a key. if they dont, the deck tells them to call eclipse, they trace the number, and show up with a local police officer. or thats what the guy at the shop told me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
