Maybe they fixed their video card problems. I had a G71G...fuckn' thing whitescreened on me when I was overseas and apparently Asus knew about the problem but didn't do shit for end users.

They are ungodly expensive for what they are though... Look at the G75/55

Asus I think has the best performance laptops for the price!

I remember the G73J was a fully loaded laptop topping out at $1700ish!

Ill be paying about 1500 for mine... The big thing turning me off of the Asus is the GTX660 when the Sager comes stock with the 670 or can have the 675

This is my opinion.

But my end desktop rig will be a OC'd Quad Core 16GB ram' date=' Dual 2 GB graphics cards, 4 HD's, water cooling, the entire caboodle

But my laptop will be no more than a dual core with 4GB of ram and onboard graphics

I don't believe in laptop gaming. Especially since I've already outfitted my entire desktop with gaming peripherals.

Whats funny is right now I have everything awesome for my computer...except the actual computer, even though its not bad!

Dual Core Xeon Server Desktop (its a server, not a regular desktop, it takes its own RAM, has 2 single Core Intel Xeons)

4GB DDR2 ETC 444Mhz RAM

1GB 6670 GDDR5 128bit graphics

80GB Raptor 10,000 RPM main HD

750 WD Black 7200 RPM Media HD

Its my current gaming desktop. Plays Skyrim fully maxed out at 30+ FPS with intermittent CPU lag

Crysis 2 on High

Battlefield 3 on Medium

All on a server computer
