Probably not really worth a thread, but I'm bored, and at least I posted it in what equals to the Off Topic section
anyway, earlier in the week I blew one of my RE8's....took it to the pawn shop where a friend of mine works so I could show him. He cut it open, and the coil was completely screwed up...so I now have only 1 sub
Pulled the box out of the car cause I cant run one sub in a box made for 2....well I can...but that would probably kill the sub, lol
brought box and sub into house, pulled sub out of box, set sub on top of entertainment center, put box in closet
Turned on TV, watched for a few mins, then changed channels...noticed that the channel numbers were now RED instead of the usuall Green
Said "That sure is wierd. The channel number is red now,its usually green."
Wife said, "Oh god, don't tell me the TV is going out."
Thats when I noticed, the sub is sitting above the tv, right where the channel number shows up....and the color on that corner of the tv looks a little odd....so.
Remove sub, color goes back to normal.
LOL
and yeah, I know that magnets can screw up tv pictures, but the sub was sitting a good 8-10 inches above the TV and I didnt think about it effecting the picture at first.
Just figured someone might get a little laugh out of my stupidity.
