so yeah looking thru another forum and there a new "Post your system" thread. So I come across these champs.

Yea i've gone overboard on systems before, in my jeep cherokee i had 2 15" eclipse aluminums along with 2 kicker comp vr 10"s ran by a rockford 1000.1bd power and another rockford 550. Also a 2.4 farad cap. So yea that hit about 148 in my jeep without dynamat. But now i drive a 95 prelude and those wont fit, but i will soon have a 15" eclipse TITANIUM with the 1000 and 2.4 farad cap

I poked some fun at 'wasted' for running 2 different size subs and his buddy 'Qu1z' shared his knowledge.

wasted isn't lying. His system used to be so loud that if he had it any louder, it would literally stop your heart from beating. He sold me my 850 wat Rockford Fosgate amp, which powered my 10 inch comp kicker. The bad thing was that my 150 wat kicker was being powered my 850 wats, so the coils fried. Then I upgraded to 2 12'' rockfords, which sound great. My rear view mirror fell off 2 days ago, and the back end of my car rattles terribly bad. So I don't blast it anymore, and I'm not gonna by dynamat.

Alright, well for one, i am not lieing, and with the 2 different sizes of subs, the 15's were for the low end and i had the 10's at midrange cause i couldn't hear my eclipse 5 1/4" door speakers very well. Also about the 148 dB reading, it was legit, done at a local Aspen Sound. I and for proof, i never took pictures or anything like that. As for getting pictures my jeep is at my house 200 miles away and i dont have the system in the car anymore.... i still have the subs and stuff but just not installed. Quiz lived by me and went to high school with me, he knows what my system was, and how it sounded. gg
