That's fine because there's no way on Earth a """320A""" alternator will make 320A for very long under real world conditions under the hood. YingLong cells are good, though I would run more than 80AH for 8KW amp. Their "max" discharge rating is 10C and I'd suggest you'd want to stay closer to 3-5C for best results. In fact, for the price I don't know why everybody is trying to skimp on them, 240AH bank takes up only about as much space as a couple 110AH AGMs and at half the weight. Anyway, I've had mine for a few years now and don't do any balancing and charge at normal car voltage (though that's leaving a lot of reserve on the table as opposed to charging 15.5). I figured going into this that even if they only lasted 3 years I'm still ahead of the game over buying AGM to do the same job since I only would need to replace the cells and not all the hardware/copper/nuts/etc. So far so good. We have 240AH in my brother's Civic on stock alternator running a big 10K Korean board and the voltage barely moves with hard play. You'll melt the subs before you drop more than 0.4V. That size bank on 12K amp with a good alternator and your voltage wouldn't move more than 0.2 even going hard. So don't cheap out here. The cycle life of these cells falls off a cliff as you start pushing them beyond 3C and it's downright dreadful running them at "max" rated charge or discharge.
