dude. i just made a few bars in photoshop... put a few text layers over the top with some overlay effects, and went into imageready and moved the bars up and down using 10 frames.

dont come all up on me like i spent all day on it. took me like 20 minutes, and most of that time was moving those effing bars around.

i just thought it was origional. and the gif file on the avatar was just somthing quirky i came up with.

and yes. 9 effing years. i have been playing with coreldraw (like 4?) since i was 10. drawing all kinds of fun stuff. coreldraw was a dos based application, so MS paint was its (crappy) successor. when i was in 7th and 8th grade i started playing with photoshop 4 and 5, and started making all kinds of awesome stuff.

ive since been (practically) teaching it in highschool to the entire graphic art class who had no idea WTF was going on and the teacher couldnt keep up with the questions, ive gone to college where i did alot of graphic arts and shizt, and now im getting paid 20k\year (sophmore in college) to work with adobe creative suite.

as far as your comment to my website - im not a ****in programmer. i dont waste my time trying to code, and i gave it a **** about programming. i like my graphics simple - if you cant tell MY taste in graphics - then too effing bad you dont like it.

i wouldnt be trying to bring somone down with your little shoddy pic of your car and a black boarder with some boxes and text with a few added black squgillies tagged on the end. if you are sneer at my work - you better be able to show somthing a little better than that.

na, i just thru it into adobe imageready (basically a animation tool bundled with photoshop)

file->edit in imageready

you can make layers and frames, and each frame you can edit all the layers. every time you make a new frame, it duplicates the last one you made (or another one you specify)

its the best gif animator ive used.

na man, its mad easy. just make your graphic with all moving parts on seperate layers, then once ya click edit in imageready, it opens it up.

make sure you open the frames window. start by making a new frame (it will copy the frame previous to make it eaiser for you to animate smoothly) and then move your objects like normal.

click new after you moved it a few pixels.
