Hey guys, I have been experiencing dimming of my headlights and interior lights/gauges since ive installed my system. It is two 15" alpine type rs - (2000W Peak, 750W RMS,Dual 2 Ohm each) and a RE audio 1500W RMS monoblock amp. The other day I had the big three done, and Im still having dimming. I went back to the car audio shop and asked what I could try next, and he suggested adding a separate car audio battery that would be dedicated to my audio system. I read alot of forums that would suggest getting a H/O alternator first. What should I try next?! Im sick of throwing money down the drain. It only dims when the bass hits on hard notes. My car comes stock with a 160amp alternator, so Im not sure if a stronger alternator is needed. Should I do what the shop said and dedicate a quality battery to the system? Or will I need a stronger alternator first? Please help I need to stop this dimming so I can install my oracles halos -cries- Thanks
