When it is near all the way down the sub is quiet but deep, but when it is all the way up the sub is loud but it sounds like it is playing a bit too high frequency of sounds. There is no gain on this amp at all. I have the RCA's hooked up in the Low Pass Filter side of the amp. Here are pictures of the setup in general and also the amp.
