Let's say I get an 18

I had a 15" xxx. It's by far my favorite sub. The box was 4 cubes 32hz. If I were to get an 18" xxx, what kind of difference should I expect? I assume there would be more output, but is there anything else?

More output, could be less SQ depending on the box. Main difference will be more output, and you should upgrade the amp too, not needed, but would help the change.

if you can fit a box for the 18 and properly build it, it should be louder and lower.

My 18XXX was SICK. The low-end was NUTS...and it moved SOOOOOOOOOOO much air. Make sure you can give it AT LEAST 7 cubes NET...with 100+ in^2 of port.
