legality of Walls?

Isn't that the point of car audio.......build the car around your stereo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif
For some. I like keeping my car "intact" Integrating my system in to the vehicle.

That ain't no fun. If something's in your way....get out the "sawzall" and fix it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That's why commercial vehicles rock for systems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Nothing to get in your way...carpet, what carpet?

a wall is a bit like a journey of spiritual enlightenment...the path is long and tortuous, but at the end, SPL nirvana awaits for those willing enough to complete the ordeal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

skep. if i were you. get a pair of 15's and mount them facing the back seats with a port in between them. then use the top as an amprack (flushmout of course) with a 'covering' of like 1\4" pressboard with carpet on top to hide the amps durring the day\night.

then make a 1" baffle thats slanted a bit to flush to the FLOOR of the car up to just below the windowline on the baffle - dont forget to put the port in and cut the speaker rings -, then a parallel (to the ground) 1" board from the top of the baffle to the rear deck. and then some 1" side pieces, and glass it all together (from inside and outside if possible) and seal it to the car with xpandifoam.

instant wall. well.. not instant. but quite **** fast... and should have like 80" deep down the center at least.

take a picture of the iniside of the car (few different angles) and the trunk and show us how it looks. i might be able to photoshop it and show you what i mean.

d@mn skep i like how you think. I could almost draw it in my head. I will probably be helping him with this adventure. And yes a wall is like a journey of spritual enlightment as Jack Frost said.

One? though. If he does not put the box all the way to the celing of his car would it still be condiered a wall for like when he goes to a comp or would they consider it a box. B/c a lot of people stick boxes in thier back seats and it would be more like that. I am just curious b/c in comps wall classes are pretty competitve but if he can get away with it being a non wall that would be better since it would not go all the way to the ceiling. Get what i am trying to say?

baaahahahhahahahhaaahaaaha.

that is all.

screw the po po build a wall and have some fun...i would tint your windows to...just make up some BS like its a show car and i am on the way to the show right now its not my daily driver...yea that is a statute about having clear view of your rear view

I'd have to check the laws on that...it still makes no sense to me why it would be perfectly legal for a truck to have an obstruction in the view, but for a car it wouldn't. What's the distinction? It's still just as unsafe in a truck as it is a car...
