legal forums

what the ****, then flat out lie and say i stole it on purpose and then they will let it go?

or what

what we did was ge t acall in a rush, and walk out stop n turn back and BAm security guard, we say o shit forgot to pay going in now, he goes NOPE u stole puts buddy n cuffs and i just walk along him..

i have till august 26 before court, and pleaded not guilty

sounds like you tried to rush out, knew you were busted so you turned around hoping to talk your way out of it

one person forgetting is believable, but both of you forgetting to pay and walking out is highly unbelievable

sugar coat your story all you want, if the common ca.com member doesnt believe you a judge isnt, your screwed

hmmmmm

the last line makes shit on of sense...

advise?

i come for possible help, as stated before i tred and i get responces like your screwd, sucks , noob,

why i ask for legal forums with helpful answers... something to help push this forward

i am stating pretty much what you are going to hear when you face a judge or assistant DA or whomever hears your case

you need a better story than "we both just forgot and decided to run out of the store because we were in a hurry"

post some advice?

lol

thats what it was.. as stupid as it sounds, which makes me even more pissed how nobody belives that.. cuz its unbelievable...

he is ****ing somehow gtting off shit cuz he is on probation and his PO is taking care of it i guess..

which is ****ing stupid...

i stayed at a holiday inn express last night and this is what i learned

they are probably just going to waste your time, charge you court costs and let you go a free man for life

its worth getting a lawyer, always is.. a good lawyer will get you like 20hrs community service if that.. in Iowa its 1k worth of goods for a felony, lol not $4 thankfully

What state are you in? In some states, even if you end up with a conviction (which you'd have to be even more of an idiot to, I'm sure they have some sort of deferred judgement option), employers are prohibited from asking after a certain number of years.

Expungement isn't always possible, depends on the state.
