What type of power uply do these require?

dont need one, I have mine wired to cig lighter so it lights up when the car starts it still visible even during the day on the footwell.

I even tried wiring this to the speaker terminal and it blinks with the sub, but will get annoying while driving, its best just for show if being wired to subwoofers

just wire the positive and negative lead to a power source and make sure that power source turns off when the car is off and you are good to go
