your lucky you didnt get a infection. Catfish carry poison in their fins and spine and 1/2 the time when you get stuck good it developes a infection down in the joint and you have to get such as a finger taken off to get rid of it.

I just got back from santee again the other day. Just fished off the pier though. Going back may 1,2, and 3rd for our cats day picnic and tournament. Caught a 6 lb cat, 1.5 lb and 4lb largemouth off of the pier. The biggest cat got off the stringer so heres some pics of the small one and the bass.

Going on a fishing trip at the end of the month and found out yesterday my dads paying for one for the family to go on to. Leaving tomorrow and coming back thursday night. Plan on catching some decent catfish. Going on our buddies guide boat which we get alot. Heres a couple pics of our last trip, we went striper fishing this time though. Caught 10 and all 10 were keepers. 3 big ones broke the lines.
