Ok, so now.... I messed with the amp settings. I turned on the crossover in the amp, and turned the cut-off all the way up to 4k. Then, I turned up the "Bass EQ" (or boost) to 18db (max). The bass is better, but still louder at those mid frequencies. Now, when I'm at around 900 rpms, there is this really loud hum coming from the sub. It's definitely not engine noise, because when I open the door, or trunk, it magically goes away! It also goes away above 1100 or 1200 rpms. Then when I get on the freeway, it comes back around cruising speed. I've heard it with "ECO" mode on and off. And again, it stops when I open the door. I tried to pop the trunk and go hear it at the sub. It stops once I open the door. I lowered the boost from full to half, and tomorrow I'll check on the way to work. Never gets boring......
