thats going to be loud as f**K in that hatch.i think a type-x might do you justice.allthough ive never heard one in person.you can go on youtube and check one out in about the same size box ur getting.it slamms pretty good from the looks of it

looking for more SQ. I heard type X is more of a SPL sub.

Its a 08 Scion TC (i'm sure sombody will flame...lol) but its a nice car, not a tuner like people TRY to make it even though its quick.

DDs require 40hz tunning guys. I ran a Fi q in about 2 cu ft at 33hz and it hit the lows. I still miss it acctualy. I think the q is perfect for you. My amp was a ta7801 so about the same power too.

DDs require 40hz tunning guys. I ran a Fi q in about 2 cu ft at 33hz and it hit the lows. I still miss it acctualy. I think the q is perfect for you. My amp was a ta7801 so about the same power too.

no i have not. Also have you looked into sundown e8s? 4 of them would be perfect in that box and they hit low

the type x is an SQ sub, but it is more of a sealed sub. Like i said, look into an Idmax 12, or an RL-P, or treo tsx or TE.

I really look the look of the RE's with the concave cone. hmm any other QUALITY subs shaped like that? I found a couple...

RE SX looks nice but I don't think it fits my application.

BTW nobody else said box was too small for 15" Sill waiting on confirmation.

jbl w15gti in 2 cubes sealed would be nice. they recommend 1.5 cubes sealed, but i liked it in 2 cubes personally.

depends on the 15. some 15's can go in small boxes, especially sealed.

using those same dimensions.....you can build a sealed box at about 3.3 cuft.....and you may be able to run the 15" fi q in that (still might be a little too small), but i've heard that the q's sound pretty good in sealed enclosures

ok the Lethal Injection only claims 500 Wrms / 1000 peak according to site. the Treo ssi claims 750 Watts RMS

Thanks for the advise, I appreciate it.

I've had a few SSIs, and they will EAT 1200+watts easy. The LI will also take that no prob. The SSI will go in a 2cuft enclosure and still sound great, imo

SSA Icons all the way for that tuning, etc. Would fit your application perfectly.
