i dont get the ending, why does he let those zombies live in the end when the lady was going to blast them? he says let them go there looking for a place to live?
I think it leaves a transition to the next sequal. Plus he notices that they became more human in remembering their old professions and how to use tools. I think Land of the Dead was horrible and cheesy when Dawn of the Dead was one of the best of the entire series.
They said "let them go..." because at the end the humans realized that the zombies, like humans, have one simple goal... to live. Unfortunely, their living relies on the flesh of humans.
