how easy does the speaker wire come out of the terminals on the speakers?

Push the button, pull wire out.

The push terminals accept 8ga

thought so cause one of my subs stopped playing and i think its the speaker wire, gonna hafta take the thing out.

With MY old L7 the voice coil wire came loose and had to re-soder(sp) it back together for temp. Then mailed it back to Kicker and received a new one.( S&H was about 40$) Hopefully it's just the wire came loose from the connector. Altho, if you used adaquate wire size, you wouldn't have that problem.

i used 12 gauge, and why wouldnt i have the problem of my wire coming loose?
