L7s or CVRs???

get L7's , nothing beats it bang for buck ... just make sure you actually have the power to get them moving , atleast 1000 watts rms per 12" and you will be extremly pleased
some of my friends were unable to sit in my car for long at full volume (system in sig)... so i imagine 4 of them would cause some serious hearing damage
LIES! Kicker is still on the expencive side unless you get like 2 or 3 years models ago..in my opinion right now Fi is the best bang for buck(BNIB). They get loud without alot of power too..

im not gonna say anything about fi cus i never heard their stuff... but i suppose you are right about kicker being a little expensive...

yea i mean if your on a budget then those massive's would be a good deal, but if you want to spend a little extra you could consider the l7's

eat me, i unloaded alot of cash for a pair of 12 MT's a while back, was very impressed with them. needed something for a smaller airspace and took up less room in my truck, something just smaller in general. so i though ehh what the hell ill give up db's so i have a nice daily driver and go with some 10s..and find out they are louder, clearer, and an all around better woofer (in my opinion) than the MTs.

That and everyone is always asking about them, so i share my experience.

Dont get me wrong, RE makes a mean woofer. one 12 weighing in at 70 pounds though, compared to an SSD weighing in at around 25..i was more impressed with Fi.

Go with the l7s. I got two and they have alot of bass.whole car shakes
extended a small 1-2" crack in my windshield all the way across //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif , had to re-weather strip the door cus the old stuff kept falling off, my bumper + hood dont align right anymore , vibrations tore the power terminal off my amp, it goes on and on... i love my subs but they do take alot of watts to get goin

im majoring in autobody repair for school..and if your hood and bumper dont align right anymore..they probably arent tightened down. go through and check all the bolts holding everything together. if they are misaligned its actually a really serious thing..if your bumper is misaligned and you get in an accident rearending someone..since its not in the right place for the computer to read the sensor, the airbag will trigger at a different point in time than its supposed to, and with you being thrown forward it could deploy early breaking your neck or late after youve already gone through the windshield. and your hood might not catch the backup latches infront of your cowl and be shot through your passenger compartment decapitating you.

im learning so much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i get to talk about this stuff and it makes me feel smart cause its what im going to school for..dont make fun

That's a badass system, I'm sure it sounds sick. I just bought 2 L7s and I'm going to power them with 1800 watts from a USAmps MD2. I may just use 1 and port it, since its going in my small hatchback

if you put both of them in a small hatchback on 1800 watts that would be insane //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif just make sure you dont go completly deaf //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif
