what is a good box for these? portted, sealed, fiberglass it dosent matter what would have the best SQ? what is good about FIberglass next to the style?

fiberglass can sometimes help you if you are tight for airspace. because you can form it you can gain more airspace than a bulky box with straight sides. other than that, choosing between ported or sealed is what you want out of your sub. it will work well in either enclosure given that it is properly constructed.

i have plenty of room for a box for these subs, where would i go get the wood? and could i fiberglass the outside of the wood make it ported? or is that just rediculous and waste of money? and is there anyother way to make the wood look really nice?

port those biatches...go to the kicker website it tells you 3 diff ported dimensions for each woofer size

i ported mine with 5.3 cubes tuned to 40hz...and it was loud. id recommend somewhere around that maybe a little lower tuning if you want more sq.

Depends on power and output. I would recommend anywhere between 2.5-3cf tuned to 32-35Hz if your going to be playing music. Slot ports. If you are going for straight SPL, someone else will have to help.

NO the kicker tells you dimensions for a ported and sealed. I have mine at the SPL set up. I have a 3.25 cubic foot box tuned to 40 hz. They tell you how big of box you need and port size. I recommend bracing it too. They even tell you wut kinda braces you need. I believe they are 3" x 3" right angle triangles.

I trust what BB6P says for 2 of them Manu. specs are a little too small for me anyway.

yea.. thats way to small.. 5.3 cu ft tuned to like 32-35 hz will make you happy with SPL and leave you with...a tiny bit of sq from the L7s.
