i'd be willing to bet the l7 gets louder and the SE will get lower (or have the potential too in the right enclosures)....

generalizations, yes. but i do have experience with both drivers...

daily power handling? i've run a 12in SE off a memphis 1000d for a while with no problems, but my friend blew his up on an overrated 1000w hifonics amp at 2 ohms (~700 rms). i've seen l7s run with anywhere from 500-1500w daily. it all depends... i'd go with the recommended specs if i were you...

Either sub is nice, the SE has great SQ and gets loud. The L7 is more SPL oriented. With the SE go 750watts and you will be happy...

Personally id choose the SE...
