hey guys i need some help. I have a kx600.1 new and it is hooked up to 2 3410's rockford in a 2 ohm load. I have the bass up to 6 on my head unit it goes to 8 and the bassknob on the amp all the way up, and the gain all the way up and i have to turn it up to 15 on my head unit to get it to hit as hard as it did with a rockford 351m. I didnt change boxes or anything i dont knwo what to do i am pretty pissed off about it but im not spending anymore money on it. let me know some ideas

it is in the right phase i went and redid it just to make sure. i have a 4 gauge power wiere and ground and i have 12 guage for the speakers and they are wired into a 2 ohm load.

Is the bass boost between the two amps set at the same level? Are you using a cap in-line?

If you have to turn it up to 15 with the kicker to sound like the fosgate, what level was the fosgate at?

It is only one amp and the fosgate amp was only at 3/4 of the way up. Which is why im pissed about it if i had known that i would have never got rid of the other amp

something is wrong...have a dealer double check the wiring...and do not turn the bass boost up...keep it down or off...the 600.1 should do 650-725 watts

filters....I remember when I had my sub hooked up, I had the amp filter on high-pass and really had to turn it up to get bass....in which I was probably killing the sub horribly.
