kx350.4 and cd8053

i just ordered both of these and i saw this on a website.

* Power (WATTS/CHANNEL), 2 Ohm Stereo: 90 x 4

* Power (WATTS/CHANNEL), 4 Ohm Bridged Mono: 175 x 2

* Fan Cooling

* Frequency Response: 20Hz-20kHz; +0, -1dB

* Input Sensitivity: High Level 340mV-10V, Low Level 170mV-5V

* Active Crossover: 12dB/Octave, variable 50Hz-200Hz, selectable high, low, or all pass

* KICKBass Boost: Variable to +18dB, (KX200.4 variable to +18dB) centered at 40Hz

will i be able to run my 8 volt preout with this amp? it says only 5v on the low. is low the rca and high the speaker wire inputs? how can i wire this and make it work and will this amp take the 8v preout without clipping?

you'll be fine with 8 volts preouts. for one thing, when playing music you'll never see that kind of voltage. i have ran a kx350.4 with an 8443 with no problem

yeah i just did a search and found this thread. makes me feel a little better. because i've heard that that will clip the amp, so i was pretty pissed when i found that the kicker was only rated at 5v because even my 1500d can take 8v.

lots of amps won't be rated to take 8 volts but you are fine.

anyone have any other input or experience with the same thing? i just want to make sure that ill be safe running this setup.
