Knukonceptz RCA cables question. Please help

The RCA cables they send with the 4 guage kit have a built in lead wire, but it is TINY. so what else can i use instead? would some 18 guage speaker wire act as a sufficient turn on lead wire?

or just go to home depot and buy a small spool of wire for 3 bucks if you dont wanna use that

as far as i know there isnt much voltage going across a remote turn-on lead.

i also bought a 4g kit (3 time) from knu and recieved the rca you are talking about. i just used it on my rf 350s and it turns on no problem. i just crimped a quick-disconnect to it and it does fine.

The remote on signal is 12v but VERY low current. As such it doesn't need much of a conductor at all.
