for half the price i can get the klmx i know its CLAD or wut ever but i need to cut money somewhere. is it going to affect the performance or anything?

CCA is gauged bigger to give the same current carrying capacity as OFC about a size lower. In other words, a 1/0 KLM cable has the current carrying capability of a 2/0 gauge OFC cable. It is suitable for applications between 200-250A (all of this information was obtained from the Knu website.)
