i think the movie could have been decent if they cut out alot of the excess bullshit like when they're stuck in the valley and with the the bugs and shit... JUST LET THEM ****ING DIE AND END IT ALREADY!

cut scense and shorten some... i guess the jagoffs that made the movie were tryin to prove something with how long the movie was but ive yet to realize what

Movie was ****ing long and as previously stated in page2 it took forever for King Kong to actually come out. At one point I thought I was in the wrong movie because he didn't come out till more than an hour after the movie started.

I give it a 1/10.

It's Peter Jackson- he never saw a peice of film he did want to cut from a movie. I bet the "directors cut" of this monkey movie will be an 8-hour 6 dvd set! Jackson is a good director, but all his movies are long as hell. On the other hand, I feel cheated when I pay $18 for my wife and I to see a flick and it's 92 minutes.

No, all this went on while the movie was playing. There was more action going on in the theater than the movie itself. It was a good movie, but a bit to long. I did'nt even know it was than long untill I was already seated and my girl was telling me:crap: .

I saw the movie last night, and I was very disappointed. It was ALRIGHT, nothing special though...and entirely too long.

I don't mind long movies, but when they feel long, you know they're no good. I went to Harry Potter a few days ago and the 2 1/2 hours felt like it went by quickly...a lot of action and things keeping me enthused - King Kong did no such thing. I felt it was dragging on even before they got to the island, and that feeling never changed.

3/10 for some pretty sweet scenes mixed in there.
