will a kinetik battery work in my car. i have a 2001 impala that im planing on instaling a 300/4 and a 500/1 in, 300 powering comps/6x9 and 500/1 powering 2 12w3v2. don't want lights diming out on me. will this battery help at all

yes it will help...may want to consider the big 3 wiring as well

it works, guys around can explain better than me but it's basically more power flow for your cars electrical. for me there were no cons, it solved my power problem.

I didnt do the big 3 yet but i did put a kinetik battery in the car along with my optima works great for me, and i drive a 03 impala so almost the same car as you.

Reason for big 3 is b/c of a "bottleneck" effect. If you are just using 4 gauge and your stock is 4 gauge then there would be no need.

This is my understanding of it anyways, if you were doing a bigger setup with say 0 gauge wire, then you would not want your stock 4/8 gauge wire feeding your 0..

Doing just a big three will not give your more power, and with you only having two small amps I dont think doing it will do the trick. Maybe just a small battery in the back if anything.

i would do the big 3 and if memory serves me correctly a 1800 fits it

you might not need anything, but if you do, start with the big 3, if that doesnt work, get a 2nd battery

well 1, it is a bottle neck, but 2, sometimes the connections can be corroded and its basically a way to also get you to make sure all the connection are good.

but yea, for that much power, you shouldnt need much of an upgrade, if any.

like the 1000 other people said, do the big 3 (even 4g will work in this case) and you should be golden.
