kinetik hc 800 worth it?

alright so im putting my system together. already have the subs and the box this weekend. now for an amp im undecided but its looking like either an autotek 1900.1 or hifonics 1608 or 2008d. so at least 1500 watts RMS. i have big three done. my friend has a kinetik 800 that he is not using and is willing to sell it for 100 is that a good price? if not ill talk him down. so if i run 1/0 to the trunk and hook up that battery. will it be sufficient? should i just save up for a bigger one? or should i just hook up the system and than if i get voltage drops than add a battery?

How many amps does your alt put out? If it puts out over 100 amps, I'd just do the big 3 and go from there. The Autotek is pretty efficient and if the Hifonics are anything alike, since they are both Maxxsonics products, then you should be fine. I was fine with an MM3000.1 on stock alt, with 0awg and big 3, but my listening levels are not always up there either.

How old is your battery and what does it put out (CCA)? I'd install all my sh!t, then go from there.

my battery is 2 years old. ill go check the CCA. i think ill do just that though install it first. hopefully he wont have it sold by than, if i need it. its 700 CCA.
