It's a tripple post battery.

It has a 16v post, meaning it sits at 16v.

You would need an alternator that charges at 17-18v.

these have 3 post , a neg. a 12volt and a 16volt post.

they need a 16 volt + alt. to charge

16v batteries need to be charged at 18 volts minimum.... 19.2 to 19.4 preferably.

kinetik 16 volt banks ive seen sit at 17.7

i belive before you charge them the "banks" will be at around 16.8-17.xx

these are not the banks these are 1 batt. thats 16+ volts....
