its long but i had to vent
okay so im staying home and going to community college this semester. so i went looking for a job at a local audio shop. one bay nothing big and fancy just work. i went un and tried to get an interview but the owner was on the phone so i waited. decided to go outside and listen to music in my truck and **** around on my cell phone. i wasnt pushing the system hard at all. volume up maybe 5 out of 35. and another kid comes up to me and ask what i have. i dont like to tell people cause i want to keep my system. so i said just some off the wall tens in prefab boxes and a jensen amp (i dont have this stuff look at my sig for what i really have lol). he likes "o cool whats the ohms on the subs" i said "there single 8's". his jaw drops and says "those only get 8 watts of power!!" i said "no its the ohms so the resistanc is 8" then he said "no your wrong my friend i plan on getting a job here and the ohms are the watts the subs get constently" i said "no thats the rms you must have those two confused" not being an *******. he continues to ask me about my system and he he gets back on the subs(i stay slient this whole time and lmfao on the inside so hard not to laugh) and starts basically trying to teach me what they do- he points to the dust cap"this is what makes all that noise, the piston shots up the air and it hit off this" and then he points to the d-block "theres your fuse and thats what make your system really hit hard. it stores up engery for those big blast of bass, ha of course with only 8 watts you would know about it" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
