The 12" L7 for both '04 and '05 have a rating of 1500 watts max and 750 watts rms. Im pretty sure mixing them wouldnt hurt a thing.

Wattage ratings and cancelation are unrelated. Subs cancel eachother out if they're wired out of phase. The only time mixing subs can be a problem (other than cosmetic) is when they have different impedences

Actually I believe thats wrong... Mixing different size subs will cause cancellation, or atleast I'm pretty sure it will....
