On a side not Sonic is a offical Kicker dealer so they have to list close to kickers recomended price, but price matching on kicker is common place for them... Such as deals like this:

only 270 for 2 brand new in box. Your friend probably overpaid when he bought them and is gonna be hard pressed to pass the buck in here so to speak (most people in here are more informed then to pay that price)

a good price on the 2 used ones is more like 250 shipped.
