kicker ssmb6 as part of components

Hey noob here. I have an older set of reference series infinities one of my mids blew, and was wondering if i can replace them with a set of ssmb6's. If i can't how are the kicker ks6.2? I'm sticking with kicker b/c i get some pretty great prices on them

Usually the crossover is tailored to the speakers it comes with... if you use another driver, the response might not be flat.

Why not call Infinity and see if you can order a replacement mid. Otherwise, I would just buy a new component set of your choice.

the ssmb6 won't play high enough to use in a 2 way.

I contacted infinity and they no longer make the replacement mids. so the ssmb6 won't work. well what I was looking at the ks series of comps any opinions?

I have a pair of Kicker KS65 coax's, and they sound great for the price. Since the components let you choose a location for the tweet, I'm sure you could arrange them to make them sound even better.
