Kicker or Fosgate?

Should I get 2 12'' kicker L5's or should I get 2 12''rf HE2's? Also what size and what kind of amp would you recommend with your choice?

KICKER!!! In my opinion RF's are talked about way too much, sure they are loud but thats about it, all they do is make noise, no sound quality. I would MUCH rather take my two 12" Kicker Comps over my friends RF HE2's!! Maybe Rockford is good because his subs are a combine 1600W and hes only running a 400W Planet Audio amp to them so they are way underpowered but I havent heard a good RF system yet so... in MY opinion i would go w/ the Kickers for sure! The Kicker 12" L5's are i believe 600w RMS so i would either go with the JBL 1200.1 (might have to set the gains a little lower) or the JBL 600.1 which should power them pretty well concidering the JBL amps are under-rated. If you go to http://www.Ikesound.com you can get two 12" Kicker L5's and a 1200.1 for $675 or the two L5's and the 600.1 for $595, probly alot cheaper than anywhere else dude, you get free shipping too, check it out, hope this helps you, Nick

id usualy say rf but since my friend was a volume mast with his and blew them im goin to go with kicker this time i know the L7s are sweet so i think that the L5s would be pretty decent for the price. and to power them id go with the jbl 1200 they shouldnt have a problem takin that power. but for sure go with the L5s over the he2s if you were lookin at the punch Hx2s i might say different but L5s this time

from a rockford fan, id pick the kicker L5s over the hx2s, better mixture of sq/spl plus it has more cone area than the hx2.

i agree unless u want flat out spl....there is not much sq in the RF
