Kenwood - X794 vs X994 which one ?

Im in the market for another HU. I want usb so i don't have to bother with CD's. both have these features and i like the 794 until i seen the 994 lol I can afford either 200 from Crutchfield for 794 300 for the 994.

can you tell me any difference and if any?

if you had the money which one would you buy?

from what i was told when i bought my 794 they're the same atcept for the faceplate doesn't change colors and no bluetooth.

x2. i just ordered a 794 and thats what i was told the difference between the 2 was. i didnt care about bluetooth or colors

I havent ordered anything from woofersetc. Crutchfield ships fast and I've never had any problems with them. Im pretty sure if u had any problems, their customer service would be great.

I bought the x994 last week, I went from a pioneer premier to the kenwood, and all I can say in my opinion the pioneer was a little louder and the fm radio was more clearer, but other then that I love the x994 color options, the usb port on the back and the usb and the cd hear good and it has alot of setting for your audio tunning, I like the option that lets you put the size of speakers u have in the car, was looking at the x794 but I wanted the color changing dont no if I could of put up with the black and white display for a couple of years, so in all it had all the features for the price I was willing to pay I wanted another pioneer but there style this year didnt cut it for me I bought the x994 off of ebay for the 225$ and I say its one heck of a radio.

i bought the 794 from crutchfield because they are authorized dealer so the warranty was better. I am selling it for $150 shipped

what exactly do u need a warranty for?

is it going in an off road vehicle where rain or other outdoor things might damage it?

sure a warranty is nice, but there is a 99.9% chance u wont need it
