Kenwood x598 distortion volume? Subwoofer level?

Anyone know what it is?

As well as what subwoofer level does? Do you have to max it out to get the 4 volt pre out or how does that work exactly?

Dude already told you, you need to max the sub level out for almost any head unit out there to get proper pre out voltage to your sub amp. Thats normally what you do to tune your amp properly. There will be no distortion if you have it all the way up and tune your amps properly .
