Hey everybody, well, im looking for cleaner bass, and just better all around audio.

Currently i have:

HU - Kenwood x591

Subs - RF p2 12" d2

Amp - RF Prime 500.1

Door Speakers - Sony Xplode *I KNOW THEY ARE BAD lol*

anyways, theres so many settings with this thing, and i dont really know what im doing with it.

Whats HPF, LPF and that stuff? and What should i set it to?

Should i turn "Loud" Off?

What should i set the Treble, Mid, and Bass level to *-8 to +8 i think*

How should i set the gains from my amp and my HU

Should i disconnect the bass knob that came with the amp?

Looks like you need some help here. I will give you some basic thing here that will give you a good starting piont! First of all, I am very familer with the excelon head units. They are very nice. The first thing I would do, is I would turn you hu amp (loud) OFF! This will give you a much cleaner sound out of the gate. Next set your HPF at 80htz or 100 for front. Set your LPF at 80htz for your sub. Make sure the amp for your sub lpf is set at 80 htz. I know there is alot to play around with, but these settings will give you a good starting point. BTW, get rid of those sony speakers as soon as you can, and look for some solid speakers for your front stage All important. Ask around the forum here for suggestions on what you are looking for in this area. Good luck to ya!
