Kenwood vs. Pioneer

I also have two excelon amps which I can now control my gain digitally from the deck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
You will need the 13-pin DIN cable (same cable as for a CD changer) to go from the HU to the first amp and an S-video cable to connect the second amp to the first. Just //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif in case you didn't know.

skadude016 ~ I would go the X789 but to be fair I'm admittedly an eXcelon fanboi //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif (I run an XXV-01D and both my amps are eXcelons)

My only real beef with the 789 is the 64-color flourescent display looks a bit grainy in pictures (very pixelated in appearance) I've not seen one in person, however, so they may look better live than they do Memorex.
