Greetings:

I down loaded all my tunes on a 16 GB capacity USB device a mini card. The formats of each song varies, some are wma, MPEG Layer 3 audio, MPEG- Audio file. The total audio on the USB is about 7 GB.

When downloading I took out all the folders and listed all the tunes alpha wise. This was done so I could get a true random play back as the Kenwood only randomized the folders, not the tunes.

I can play the entire USB on any computer but not on the Kenwood. Can anyone tell me why only 255 songs are playing back? After 255, #1 plays to the max of 255. thanks

H2

I have the mp342u, and when doing research I found that many of these kenwood models have a hard time reading those memory sticks. Your best bet is to be an adult and buy a real mp3 player. Just because those memory sticks are cheap now, doesn't make them a real mp3 player. Cut your losses and buy an Ipod or zune or something.
